HECS field technicians hold NGBS Green Certified Verifier (Home Innovation Research Labs) credentials (valid through December 2026) and operate as an IBHS FORTIFIED Home Evaluator, RESNET Certified HERS Rater, ENERGY STAR Multifamily Reviewer, NGBS Green Certified Verifier, and EarthCraft Certified Verifier. Every report is signed by a credentialed technician — never outsourced.
HECS verifies NGBS Green Certification against the IL energy code, IL building code, and any local amendments. For LIHTC-funded multifamily, we coordinate with the state-specific housing finance agency (KHC / IHCDA / OHFA / THDA / IHDA depending on state) on certification requirements.
